May 1, 2007: WE NEED YOUR HELP!

The Girl Scouts of Santa Clara County’s 2007 “Cookie Share” program was a huge success. For the third year in a row, they will be giving Operation: Care and Comfort over 30,000 boxes of cookies to ship to our troops. That’s over 2,500 cases of cookies! We need your help! We must raise the funds to pay to ship these cookies overseas – it costs us $1 (one dollar) a pound! Please help by making your tax deductible donation NOW!

Please make checks payable to ARC Operation: Care and Comfort, and mail them to us at:

Operation: Care and Comfort
3173 Pebble Beach Circle
Fairfield, CA 94534
Online donations may also be made, using this link. Please be sure to specify “Operation: Care and Comfort” as the program recipient for your donation.

Thank you for helping us support those who are serving so far from home.

About Operation Care and Comfort
Since April 2003, the all-volunteer Operation: Care and Comfort program, unique to the Santa Clara Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross, has shipped over 200,000 pounds of care packages for distribution to Marine, Army, Air Force, Navy, and Coast Guard personnel deployed in conflict regions. Adopted military units receive care packages monthly, until they return home. For more information on this worthy program, please visit: www.operationcareandcomfort.org.
