Assisting San Francisco Bay Area and California military families
for support in a time of need
Since 2005, our “Adopt a Military Family” program has assisted San Francisco Bay Area and California military families for one-time support. We understand that living in this area can be expensive, and many military families struggle to make ends meet. That’s why we’re here to provide support when it’s needed most.
Through our program, we work with military liaisons to identify families in need and provide them with one-time assistance from civilian donors, companies, or organizations. This could include purchasing special toys for military children, providing gift cards to local grocery stores, or helping to pay bills like electricity or water.

Adopt a Military Family Program Overview
To participate and “adopt” a family in our Adopt a Military Family program, simply sign up to be on our standby list. If your organization or company is selected to help a military family in need, you’ll work with military liaisons to provide the family with their specific needs. Your donation can make a huge difference in the lives of our military and veteran families and show them that they are valued and appreciated.
If you are a military or veteran family who needs assistance, please understand that we do NOT allow you to sign up for assistance directly. An official military liaison, the VA, a VSO, military organization, etc. must request the form from us as your advocate.
We also partner with local businesses and organizations to provide ongoing support to our military community. If you’re interested in becoming a corporate partner or would like to make a donation, please contact us to learn more.
